Launch of POCSO Awareness Program at Gurukulam – Empowering Students

 On 24th June 2025, Gurukulam organized an informative POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Launch Meet aimed at creating awareness among students about safety and protection against sexual abuse. The event marked the official announcement of the POCSO Committee members, who will play a vital role in guiding and supporting students in matters of safety and well-being.

As part of the launch, the committee conducted an awareness session, educating students about their rights and the importance of speaking up whenever they face challenging or unsafe situations. The session emphasized understanding, courage, and trust, helping students feel empowered to approach elders or responsible authorities in case of any difficulties.

To make the message more relatable and impactful, the committee organized a skit, demonstrating practical scenarios where students might encounter threats from unknown individuals. The skit highlighted how to identify unsafe situations, respond appropriately, and seek help from trusted adults, making the learning experience both engaging and memorable.
