Bebras Challenge Session – Encouraging Logical Thinking Among Students

The Bebras Challenge session was organised on 28th February by the students of SSN College for our students. The session aimed at promoting logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and computational thinking among the participants.

Students actively participated in the session and showed great enthusiasm while solving various interesting challenges and puzzles. The activities were thoughtfully designed to enhance students’ analytical abilities and creativity, encouraging them to think beyond conventional methods.

Learning Faith and Harmony - A Visit to the Church 2026

As part of our school’s initiative to promote secular values and respect for all religions, the students were taken on an educational visit to a Church on 1st April. The visit was organized to help students understand the traditions, beliefs, and practices followed in Christianity.

During the visit, the students experienced the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the church and learned about the significance of prayer, compassion, and service to humanity. The church officials warmly welcomed the students and shared valuable information about the history of the church, the importance of worship, and the teachings of love, kindness, and forgiveness in Christianity.

The students listened with great interest and curiosity. They observed the architecture, the prayer hall, and the symbols used in the church, which helped them gain a better understanding of the Christian faith and its values.

Such visits play an important role in helping students appreciate cultural diversity and develop respect for different religions and traditions. The experience was both informative and inspiring, leaving the students with meaningful lessons about unity, harmony, and mutual respect.

A Joyful Milestone – KG Graduation Day 2026

KG Graduation Day was celebrated with great joy and excitement on 28th March at the GVTC Wing – Mesquite Hall. The event marked a memorable milestone in the lives of our little graduates as they completed their Kindergarten journey and prepared to step into the next stage of their academic life.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome to the parents, who gathered to witness this proud and emotional moment in their children’s lives. The tiny graduates, dressed in their graduation attire, looked confident and enthusiastic as they walked onto the stage to receive their certificates.

The program included delightful performances by the children, showcasing their talents through songs, dances, and short presentations. Their confidence and enthusiasm filled the hall with happiness and pride. It was truly heartwarming to see the young learners express themselves so beautifully.

The graduation ceremony symbolized not only the completion of their Kindergarten years but also the beginning of a new chapter in their learning journey. Teachers appreciated the children for their growth, curiosity, and eagerness to learn throughout the year.

Learning to Respect All Faiths – Mosque Visit

As part of our continuous effort to nurture respect for all religions and promote secular values among students, the school organized a visit to a Mosque on 2nd April. Such visits are conducted every year to help students understand and appreciate the diversity of cultures and traditions that exist in our society.

During the visit, the students had the opportunity to observe the peaceful atmosphere of the mosque and learn about the importance of prayer, discipline, and spiritual values in Islam. The officials at the mosque warmly welcomed the students and shared valuable insights about the history, practices, and significance of the mosque in the community.

The session was very informative and engaging. Students listened attentively and asked thoughtful questions, which helped them gain a deeper understanding of the beliefs and traditions followed in Islam.

The visit was a meaningful learning experience that encouraged students to respect different faiths and embrace the values of harmony, unity, and mutual understanding.

Founder’s Birthday Celebration

 23rd February marks the birthday of our beloved Founder, who has always been the backbone and guiding force of Gurukulam. His vision, dedication, and commitment have played a vital role in shaping the institution and inspiring generations of students.

On this special occasion, the students expressed their love, respect, and gratitude by conveying their heartfelt wishes in various creative ways. They shared messages, greetings, and thoughtful gestures to show their affection and appreciation.

Though he was not physically present with us, the warm wishes from students and staff made the day truly meaningful and special. The entire Gurukulam family joined together in celebrating his remarkable contribution and legacy.

We sincerely pray to the Almighty to bless him with good health, happiness, and a long life, so that his guidance and inspiration continue to lead us in the years to come.








A Celebration of Curiosity – Science Expo 2026

Our school proudly organized a Science Expo on 13th March, providing a wonderful platform for students to explore, innovate, and present their scientific ideas. The event aimed to nurture curiosity and encourage students to think creatively while applying their classroom learning to real-life concepts.

Our Guests of Honour - Mr. Kannan from Ecotec, Mr. Selvendran Rajendran - Chief Officer Merchant Navy, and Ms. Sunitha a Life Coach added great value and inspiration to the program.

Students enthusiastically presented their science models, experiments, and innovative ideas in front of the distinguished guests, parents, and their peer groups. The young learners confidently explained their projects and demonstrated their understanding of scientific concepts.

The expo provided an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their creativity, critical thinking, and presentation skills. The program was well organized and thoughtfully planned, with the aim of encouraging students and reaching out to the wider community.

The event turned out to be a memorable and inspiring experience, highlighting the spirit of learning, discovery, and innovation among our students.



















Republic Day Celebration 2026

Republic Day was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The campus was filled with vibrant colors and joyful participation from the students.

Students actively took part in a variety of activities such as patriotic painting, coloring, speech, and rangoli competitions. Each activity reflected the students’ love and respect for the nation. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with tricolor themes, showcasing the creativity and teamwork of the students.

On 26th January, the national flag was proudly unfurled by the teaching team in the presence of the students. The celebration brought together teachers and children in a spirit of unity and patriotism.

The entire program was well planned and organized, making the day both meaningful and memorable for everyone. The enthusiasm and energy of the students made the celebration truly special.
