Saying goodbye is never easy, but the memories will last forever

 

School organised a farewell party for our Grade XII students on 17th April '25.

Teachers extended their  best wishes to the children who have spent 14 years with Gurukulam and who have grown into wonderful young adults thanks to the guidance and encouragement from the teachers. 

Every farewell is a sunset that always awaits the next sunrise. Life tells the most beautiful stories and every journey calls for a new story.  The bonds we share will forever be cherished and it's never goodbye, it's "see you later".

Students enjoyed the day.....but of course they were many teary eyes as they were leaving the safety of Gurukulam.

Farewell celebration for our Grade XII students 2024

It is indeed a proud moment to see our children complete 14 years of schooling with us...and take the values inculcated at school with them for life...

The farewell party for the outgoing Grade XII students was organised on 27th April, 2024 in the school campus. 

It was an opportunity to celebrate their achievements, express appreciation, and offer well wishes for all their future endeavors. 

The farewell function started with an opening song. Then each and every student was gifted a flower stick and a book along with a pen. The class 12 students expressed their gratitude towards their beloved teachers.  Teachers organized games for the students.  Trustee Mrs. Sabitha and our Admin Manager Mr. Naushad have  encouraged the students with their motivational speeches. 

12th Standard Farewell 2023

...and the next batch of 12th standard students passed out. Having spent 14 years of their early years at Gurukulam, hopefully they are equipped to face the next stage of their lives!

As reported by our teacher: Mukilan, student of class XII, made an emotional farewell speech in which he mentioned their long and deep association with the school as well as with his class. His speech, which was full of praise and appreciation for our outgoing class, was delivered in a befitting manner. His farewell speech was punctuated with humorous remarks and pleasantries.  

After his speech of all the students spoke about their experiences and expectations.   

Students then got blessings from the teachers, founder and also from the invited guests. 

Parents of the outgoing students gave emotional speeches thanking the sponsors and teachers for bringing up their children. 

Teachers then conducted fun games for the out going students. 

I was experiencing the mixed feelings. , this was not merely a school that imparted knowledge but a cradle of decent culture and civilization.
