Kovalam Panchayat Honours Our Grade X Achiever

Our school takes immense pride in celebrating the outstanding achievement of our Grade X student, Roshan Sainath, who was felicitated by the Kovalam Panchayat on 1st June for his exceptional performance in the Tamil Nadu State Board Examination.

Roshan secured the Second Rank in Kovalam with an impressive score of 467 out of 500 marks, bringing great honour to our school and the community. In recognition of his academic excellence, he was presented with a cash award of ₹10,000 by the Kovalam Panchayat, in association with the STS Foundation.

This well-deserved recognition is a testament to Roshan's dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. His achievement serves as an inspiration to his fellow students, encouraging them to pursue their goals with determination and confidence.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Roshan Sainath on this remarkable accomplishment and express our sincere gratitude to the Kovalam Panchayat and the STS Foundation for recognising and encouraging young achievers. We wish Roshan continued success in all his future endeavours.

A Proud Milestone – 100% Success in our Grade X Board Examination

Our school proudly celebrates a remarkable milestone as our Grade X students have achieved a 100% pass result in the Board Examination. This outstanding achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our students, along with the unwavering commitment of our teachers, staff and all our sponsors and well wishers. 

Adding to this proud accomplishment, our student Roshan Sainath emerged as the highest scorer, securing an impressive 467 out of 500 marks (92% average). This exceptional performance is a testament to his determination, consistent effort, and academic excellence.

This historic success marks the beginning of a legacy of excellence for our institution. We congratulate all our Grade X students for their remarkable achievement and extend our heartfelt appreciation to our teachers and parents for their invaluable guidance and encouragement throughout the academic journey.

VBJ Award for 10th topper

  

On 2nd August, our school had the proud privilege of welcoming our Founder, Captain Nandkumar. His presence brought immense joy and inspiration to both students and staff.

During his visit, Captain Nandkumar personally congratulated Gunalan of Grade X, our school topper, who has made us all proud with his outstanding academic achievement. In recognition of his hard work and success, Gunalan was awarded a cash prize of ₹10,000/-, sponsored by VBJ, Chennai.

Captain Nandkumar also interacted with the Grade X students and team members, conducting a special motivation session. His encouraging words and guidance have left a lasting impact, energizing the students to aim higher and pursue their goals with dedication and discipline.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Captain Nandkumar for his continuous support, guidance, and vision, which constantly inspire our school community to strive for excellence.

 

100% pass in X & XII NIOS Board Exam 2025

We have a 100% pass in our X & XII Board Exam conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling!

T. Gunalan is our school topper for the X standard, scoring 91% in English, 84% in Social Studies, 83% in Science and 78% in Basic Computers. 

Deepa is our school topper for the XII standard scoring 87% in Web-Development, 81% in Tamil and 77% in Accountancy. 

100% of our XII standard students have scored a overall First Class.

90% of our X standard children have scored a overall First Class. 

Indeed a proud moment for all the staff and teachers of Gurukulam!

We are thrilled to announce that our 10th-grade students have achieved a 100% pass rate in their final examinations. And our 12th-grade students have achieved a 90% pass rate, with excellent individual scores in the NIOS exams. 

This outstanding accomplishment reflects the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our students, as well as the unwavering support and guidance of our dedicated teachers and staff. Each student’s success is a testament to our school's commitment to academic excellence and holistic education. VBJ Award for our teacher

Teachers don’t just teach—they prepare the students for the road ahead, their impact goes beyond the classroom.

Teachers give up their personal and family time to grade papers, prepare lessons, and many more.   The compliment will certainly mean a lot to them.

 A teacher’s main goal is to teach.   Hearing that new sense of confidence in their children’s voice will make the teacher proud.

Teachers love to learn and get excited when students share that enthusiasm.  

Good teachers want to see their students succeed and are honored to be a mentor. Students can feel their support and that it doesn’t go unappreciated.

Our Computer teacher Ms. Usha Vadivel has been appreciated for the good efforts she made to make the student to score 90% in her subject.  Vummidi Bangaru  Jewellers has sponsored a prize money of Rs.2000/- for the teacher's good effort and hard work. The cheque has been awarded to Ms. Usha Vadivel on 5th October '23, during the morning assembly by the Trustee Ms. Sabitha.

VBJ Award to the School topper

VBJ Award has been initiated by Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers for the school topper in Board Exams.

Gurukulam invited the Topper of Board Exam of class X for special appreciation and the VBJ Award during the morning assembly on 5th October.

It was a moment of pride and celebration when the Topper of Board class X, Gautham, came forward to collect the prize money. School   Principal   and  The Trustee Ms. Sabitha  congratulated the student for the excellent result.

School Management announced that the Management is going to support not only their schooling but also their higher studies, if the children can secure a good mark during their Board exams and show good discipline at school. 

Gautham extended his heartfelt happiness and thanks to the school management as well as the Prize money sponsor - Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers.  Gautham has been awarded a cheque of Rs.10000/-.  for securing the school topper position .

 

VBJ Award for Hemalatha - Grade X

On 2nd February 2022, our student Hemalatha of Grade XI has received a scholarship worth Rs.5000/ from Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers for securing 499 Marks on her Grade X Board examination.

The results for our 12th standard is out! 

We have had a wonderful result. We have all our students passing the 12th except for one child. All the rest have done well!!

We are proud of them and wish them the very best in their college admissions. 

We have 2 children who are competing for the VBJ topper of class award. Tamil Selvi and Saira Banu. Saira Banu's chemistry result has been sent for reassessment. 

Once we receive the final marks, we shall know our top scorer.

We have a 100% pass of all students with K Sanjaykanth topping the class.

Mrs Chitash Vummidi and Mr Jittendra Vummidi came to give away the 10th topper award for this year!

Arunkumar walked away with a cash prize of Rs 20,000 :-) :-) 

Calm and collected, he plans to utilise the amount towards his future studies.

100% pass in the 10th standard (2015-16) batch

Wonderful news from the 10th standard! 

We have had a 100% pass from this batch at the NIOS exams!

It is with immense happiness that I share our 10th standard results!

This is our first batch to appear for the 10th standard examination under the NIOS board.

All students except 1, have passed in all subjects. And ALL passed with a "first class" aggregate!

The 1 student who has failed, has failed in only one subject. And has passed all the rest!

Pragadeesh has done very well with:

86% in English

76% in Social Studies

74% in Mathematics

78% in Tamil

63% in Science & Technology

Dharini has done well too, with:

82% in Tamil and 67% in Science.

Kudos to all the teachers who have worked hard to bring our children up.
