LKG Admissions 2023

LKG Admissions completed! The last of the house visits have been conducted.

We have a lovely batch of new children who will be joining us for the academic year starting in June 2023. 

Every child who will be joining us are from an underprivileged back ground, with parents earning around Rs 8000/- to 10,000/- per month. (USD 100 - 120 per month). 

Yoga day Celebration

 21st June 2023

Gurukulam celebrated the International Yoga day on 21st June, Wednesday.  The programme began with the school prayer followed by Surya Namaskar, Asanas , Yoga dance along with Yoga quiz.   

Yoga has various physical and mental benefits. This is an old practice which originated in India. This yoga practice includes many physical exercises such as breathing, postures, and mental exercises such as meditation or dhyan yog.   

The celebration was well planned and organised by the teachers and the students.

KG Parent's Orientation

22nd June 2023

 School organised the parents orientation programme for the LKG & UKG students on 22nd June. The Parents' Orientation programmes serve as a foundation for school success. It sets a lasting impression for new students and their families. The main purpose of a good orientation session  is to bridge the gap between the teachers and the students, ensuring a smooth communication between the two.

Parents orientation programs also help parents voice their opinions,  understand the function and the roles of the teachers as well as the school.   

The school sets the expectations from what parents are required to do from their side:

1. Send children regularly, well groomed and on time

2. Ensure a quiet space for the child to do his/her homework everyday.
