13th Jan 2026
One of the most memorable events of the academic year was the Pongal (Harvest Festival) celebration held on 13th January in the school campus. The celebration was organized with the aim of helping students understand the cultural values, traditions, and moral significance behind our festivals.
A variety of cultural activities were conducted as part of the celebration, allowing students to actively participate and showcase their talents. One of the highlights of the event was an interesting debate session, where students discussed the topic of who celebrates Pongal more meaningfully – "people living in cities or those in native villages?". The debate encouraged students to think critically and express their views confidently.
The celebration also featured a vibrant dance performance by the students, which added great energy and enthusiasm to the event. Their performances beautifully reflected the spirit and joy of the harvest festival.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, Sweet Pongal was traditionally prepared and served to the students, making the celebration even more special and memorable for everyone.
