Pongal celebration continues for over four days. Gurukulam students celebrated the pongal festival in a grand manner.
The celebration marks the importance of natural resources and a good harvest season.
In a traditional way the celebration was begun with lighting of the lamp by our Ms. Sumathi, mother of the founder followed by a traditional welcome dance. Students show cased their talents by presenting the Tamil folk dance.
House students prepared the sweet pongal, the Kabadi team performed their matches and young and energetic boys did the Uriyadi thiruvizha by closing their eyes.
Debate in tamil was an ultimate .
