24th Nov 2018
Thanks to KPMG, our class 10th and 3rd standards had a chance to visit the Egmore museum!
Our loving thanks to KPMG volunteers and the KPMG team for sponsoring the entire trip for the students.
As reported by Mrs Enit Beena, our teacher:
REPORT ON VISIT TO MUSEUM AT EGMORE
Our School with KPMG arranged a visit
to Egmore Museum on 24.11.2018 (Saturday). Ms. Darthy and myself took the
students of Grade X (5 students) and Grade III (9 students) and left to Museum
from our school at 8:45 AM in the bus arranged by our School. We gave biscuits
to the students, provided by the school.
We
reached there at 9:50 AM and met the members (18) of KPMG. Mr. Gowtham of KPMG
paid for the bus and purchased the entrance
tickets for us.
At
10:00AM, the entry in the Museum was permitted. First, we visited the Sculpture
Museum followed by Hindu Museum, Weapons Museum, Anthropology section,
Geography section and Science section. Finally, the students were taken to the
Children’s Park where they had fun.
Nearly
at 12:30 PM, the students and the teacher’s were given juice with
Samosa’s and a cake. Around 12:45 we left the Museum and reached the school
by 2.00 PM.
The
KPMG members were very friendly and kind to us, especially Mr. Gowtham. The
students had a very rich experience and we all enjoyed the trip.
