Students from BALM spent an afternoon with our children, getting to know our school, our values and our beginning....
The first year students of BALM spent an hour getting to know about how Gurukulam had started before they engaged with the children.
It was a set of highly motivated young adults who made a big impact with their clear thoughts and social vision.
Our children gave then an impromptu karate, dance and song performance.

Founded in 2007, The Banyan Academy of Leadership in Mental Health (BALM) is a mental health and social science research and teaching institution. BALM is the sister organization of The Banyan, (www.thebanyan.org), one of India’s leading and high impact NGOs that pioneered comprehensive mental health solutions for poor and homeless persons.
