Inspiring Creativity through Sustainability

On November 13, the MMRT3 team organized a vibrant Junk Art Competition for students of Grades VII to XI to celebrate childhood and creativity. 

The initiative, themed “Wealth Out of Waste,” encouraged students to explore sustainability through hands-on art using recyclable materials. 

Each creation reflected the students’ imagination, teamwork, and commitment to protecting the environment. The event not only nurtured artistic talent but also reinforced the importance of reusing and recycling in shaping a more responsible and eco-conscious generation.

Children’s Day Celebration – A Day Filled with Joy and Laughter

Gurukulam celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2025 with boundless joy and excitement. 

The day was filled with engaging games and activities designed to delight our little learners and make the celebration truly special. 

Teachers enthusiastically joined in the fun, sharing laughter and inspiring students to grow into kind, responsible citizens. 

To make the day even more memorable, each child received a small gift as a token of appreciation for their cheerful participation. The campus echoed with smiles, laughter, and warmth, creating beautiful memories for both students and teachers alike.

Exploring the Five Sense Organs – A Fun Learning Activity for KG Kids

 

On 25th July 2025, the KG students of Gurukulam participated in an engaging Five Sense Organs Activity, designed to help them understand and explore the functions of their sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell in a fun and interactive way.

Through colorful charts, real-life examples, and hands-on activities, the little ones enthusiastically learned how each sense helps us experience and understand the world around us. They participated in games and exercises that encouraged them to observe, listen, touch, taste, and smell different objects, making learning both playful and memorable.

The activity helped students develop curiosity, observation skills, and awareness of their senses while fostering a joyful learning environment. The children’s excitement and active participation made the classroom come alive with laughter and learning.

The Five Sense Organs Activity is an excellent example of Gurukulam’s approach to holistic education, where young learners gain knowledge through exploration, play, and practical experiences.









Number Game Activity – Learning Numbers the Fun Way!

 

On 8th August 2025, the KG students of Gurukulam participated in an exciting Number Game Activity, designed to make learning numbers fun, interactive, and engaging.

The kindergarteners enthusiastically played games that helped them recognize numbers, which comes before, after or in the middle. Through hands-on activities and playful exercises, they learned to associate numbers with objects, enhancing both their numerical skills and logical thinking.

The classroom buzzed with laughter, curiosity, and teamwork, as students challenged themselves and cheered for their friends. This activity not only strengthened their mathematical understanding but also encouraged confidence, focus, and cooperation among the young learners.

The Number Game Activity was a perfect example of Gurukulam’s approach to learning through play, where education becomes enjoyable and memorable for every child.






Good Manners Activity – Nurturing Values in Our Kindergarteners

 On 28th June 2025, the KG students of Gurukulam participated in a meaningful and interactive "Good Manners Activity", aimed at teaching the importance of politeness, respect, and kind behavior in daily life.

Through fun exercises, role-plays, and engaging discussions, the little ones learned how to use magic words like “please,” “thank you,” and “sorry”, greet others politely, and demonstrate respect towards friends and teachers. The activity encouraged students to practice positive social behavior, reinforcing the values that help build good relationships.

The session was filled with laughter, learning, and joyful participation, helping the children understand that good manners are not just rules, but a way to make everyone feel happy and respected.

This activity reflects Gurukulam’s commitment to holistic education, where along with academics, young learners are guided to develop moral values, social skills, and emotional intelligence from an early age.








Five Magical Words Activity – Fun with Language for Our KG Kids

 On 20th September 2025, the KG students of Gurukulam participated in an engaging and interactive Five Magical Words Activity. The session was designed to help young learners explore new words, improve vocabulary, and express themselves confidently in a fun and playful way.

During the activity, the little Gurukulites enthusiastically learned and used five new “magical” words, practicing their pronunciation and understanding their meanings through games, storytelling, and interactive exercises. The cheerful environment encouraged students to speak confidently, listen attentively, and enjoy the magic of language.

This activity not only enhanced language skills but also fostered creativity, curiosity, and communication abilities among the young learners, making learning both fun and meaningful.

The Five Magical Words Activity was yet another example of Gurukulam’s approach to holistic education, where even language learning becomes a playful and enriching experience for our KG students. 




Ball Balancing Fun – A Day of Joyful Play for Our KG Kids

 

On 2nd August 2025, our Kindergarten students at Gurukulam had an exciting and energetic day as they participated in a Ball Balancing Game. The activity was designed to enhance the children’s concentration, coordination, and balance while making learning through play an enjoyable experience.

With bright smiles and eager faces, the little ones carefully balanced the hoola hoops and collected the colorful balls, walking steadily toward the finish line. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, cheer, and encouragement as teachers and friends applauded their efforts.

This fun-filled activity not only helped improve their motor skills and focus but also taught them the importance of patience and determination.

The Ball Balancing Game turned out to be a delightful experience, fostering teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship among our young Gurukulites.



Caterpillar Formation Activity – A Fun Learning Day for Our Little Gurukulites

 

On 28th June 2025, our KG students at Gurukulam participated in a joyful and colorful Caterpillar Formation Activity. The little ones were full of excitement as they created adorable caterpillars by learning through play and creativity.

The activity helped the children develop their fine motor skills and sequencing abilities. Their enthusiasm and teamwork made the classroom come alive with smiles and laughter.

This simple yet engaging hands-on activity encouraged our young learners to explore  he joy of making something on their own.

The Caterpillar Formation Activity truly reflected Gurukulam’s commitment to fun-based learning, where every small creation becomes a big step in nurturing imagination and confidence in our little ones.
