In order to appreciate and respect each other's religions, Gurukulam students visited Dharmalingeshwarar temple located at Kovalam on 24th March, 2024.
Students enjoyed the visit and have been blessed with a special prayer conducted during their visit. Students from Grade I - XII actively participated .

Admissions every year go through a strict process of selection by the teachers, Admin Manager, Principal and Trustees.
All applicants are checked for financial eligibility by the Admin Manager and teachers by checking various records.
Initial house visits are conducted by teachers, Admin Manager and Principal to ensure that the children are from economically underprivileged families.
The final house visits are done along with a Trustee. This is to ensure that children from the most deserving and economically underprivileged families are admitted to school.

Thanks to our generous donor Anand Malu, a 300 litre water treatment plant has been installed at school. This will take care of all the drinking water needs at school.

Our student Minash of Grade IV, participated in the Regional Level Silambam competition and has secured the 1st place in the Junior level.
We at Gurukulam, support all our students who are interested in arts like Karate, Silambam and Yoga.
We encourage and motivate them to take active participation. Minash has been appreciated during the morning assembly for his achievement.
Students of VIT College, Chennai conducted an outreach programme on "Astronomy" on the 27th January, 2024. Students from Grade VI upwards actively participated.
Students enjoyed a lot of games and quiz as part of the session too understand Astronomy better.
