School Market - Vendor's day activity

 As parents and teachers, we all want our children to learn and develop essential life skills that go beyond textbooks and classrooms. One such skill is entrepreneurship,  School Vendor's day is an excellent platform to introduce kids to it. 

A school vendor's day is a fun event where children get to showcase their creativity, innovation, and business insight by setting up stalls and selling products they make or source. School planned the market day on 30th June, at school campus.

Organizing a school market day can be a challenging task,  from arts and crafts to food and beverages, there is something for every child's interest and skill level.

Story tellling session

 28th June 2023

Storytelling brings language learning alive and creates a participatory and immersive experience that allows Young Learners to enjoy hearing the language in a dynamic, sometimes stylistic and entertaining way. 

Participation using key vocabulary and phrases can create an awareness of rhythm and structure. Students from Grade VI - XII participated during the story telling session, which has been conducted on 28th June at school campus.  

Students participation was made mandatory and the judges have given the marks for their respective house groups.

Children enjoyed the session and we could see the positive changes in the students when they participate during these session.

Gurukulam is awarded "Golden School" at the Indian Talent Olympiad

Our student Lakshith of Grade II has won the State level prize and has been awarded the gold medal along with a prize money of Rs.700/-.  

State Level Award for the English has been secured by S. Madhumitha of Grade X.

Students have won prizes in Computer, English and Math.

Indian Talent Olympiad has also awarded all the teachers under whose departments the children won the prizes. 

School has been awarded as "Golden School" for the year 2022-2023.

Punctuality Award 2022-23

 27th June 2023

The punctuality award for the academic year 2022-23 year goes to:

Sathish Kumar of Grade II

Lakshith  of Grade III

Hasini of Grade III

Bhoomika of Grade IV

Thanks to "Hiranandani Apartment Association" who have reconditioned few unused kids cycles and donated it to Gurukulam. 

These cycles were used towards the punctuality Award for our children. 

Their parents have been invited to collect the cycle during the assembly on 27th June.  Parents and students expressed their happiness towards the award.

LKG opening day celebration

 June 2023

This wonderful moment have been captured by our teachers during the KG reopening day.  Kids have come to school in colourful bright happy clothes.  

Teachers gave the students a warm welcome with a greeting card along with sweets.  

The tiny tots have made their palm print on their first day.  This will become a memorable day for all the kids.  Parents expressed their happiness towards the school and its arrangements for the warm welcome given to their wards
