As reported by our Principal:
The Oral Dental screening campaign was organised on 17th August 2022 in the school campus. The Chettinad Dental Hospital HOD (Head of Dept) along with their faculties came to the school and organised the same.

Oral disease incorporates a range of disorders that include dental caries, gum (periodontal) disease, tooth loss, embedded and impacted teeth, and diseases of salivary glands, lips, oral mucosa and tongue .
The important role that health promotion and disease prevention plays in the oral health care system . The oral health campaign helps to target preventive health behaviours, improve screening and encourage the use of dental care. The purpose of this screening is to review and describe the objectives how the children have to take care of their dental health. The awareness for the dental maintenance have been periodically organised in Gurukulam in association with dental colleges.
The doctors have conducted a counselling session for the students how to prevent the early tooth decaying and extraction. Students benefited with the valuable information and suggestions given by the dentists.
More than 130 students benefited from this campaign.
